About the project

The client utilised past research as a foundation to develop a revamped version of their existing platform. They sought our help to validate design decisions and prioritise features for future product phases.

The impact I made by leading this project, was providing the product team with a strategy for next phases of the platform.

Process

Testing a platform requires a comprehensive understanding of the product and a high degree of empathy with its users.

Step 1

KICK OFF + product walkthrough

Kick-off meeting and product walkthrough were essential for grasping the client’s end goal and becoming acquainted with the platform.

Step 2

discussion guide creation + recruitment

We designed the most suitable testing flow and methodologies to streamline the process and recruited participants from both New Zealand and Australia.

Step 3

usability testing + CARD SORTING

 Face to face and remote usability testing sessions x12 across Australia and New Zealand with card sorting exercise as part of it.

Step 4

reporting + remote presentation

Remote project presentation for 10 stakeholders, executive summary, full report and road map strategy for the next phases of the product.
